High TG PCB

Electronic systems operating in elevated-temperature environments require circuit boards capable of maintaining mechanical stability, electrical performance, and long-term reliability. Materials with higher glass transition temperatures (Tg) are designed to withstand increased thermal stress, reducing the risk of warping, delamination, and performance degradation during operation. High-Tg laminates are commonly selected for applications where standard PCB materials may not provide sufficient thermal endurance.

We manufacture circuit boards for applications exposed to continuous heat, temperature fluctuations, and demanding operating conditions. From prototype development to production manufacturing, our team supports projects requiring enhanced thermal performance. Those are widely used in automotive electronics, industrial equipment, aerospace and defense, power electronics, telecommunication infrastructure, and more.

High Tg Printed Circuit Boards FAQs

Tg refers to the glass transition temperature of a Printed Circuit Board. It is that temperature at which the base material of a PCB starts to change from a brittle condition to a soft, elastic one, thereby impacting performance. A PCB whose glass transition temperature (Tg) is greater than 170 ℃ is known as a High Tg PCB.

They are resistant to high temperatures, have long delamination durability among other things.

If the temperature in the application exceeds the “Tg” value, it leads to issues related to the board’s performance. With different materials having different thermal expansion coefficients, there will be mechanical stress leading to micro cracks. Thus, you need to go with a manufacturer who has the necessary experience and expertise in fabricating these boards.
